Crawlers use different size of track link base on the machine's operating weight and undercarriage requirements. For mid-size equipment like the PC200, links must accommodate bushings around 46.4x108.3mm, while larger D7G dozers require heavy-duty links fitting 71.3x175mm bushings. Manufactured by Shengde Machinery (a 26-year factory), our forged track links are made of high-strength steel to match specific pin diameters from 14mm to 46mm. Steel track link sizes and pitches vary depending on the machinery type, weight, and application, with common industry pitches ranging from 76.2 mm (3 inches) for compact machines up to over 300 mm for heavy-duty mining equipment. The pitch is defined as the distance between the center of one track link pin to the center of the next, and it must precisely match the excavator's drive sprocket to avoid accelerated wear or failure. 

Key Steel Track Measurements:

  • Track Pitch: The distance between the centers of two adjacent pins. Common sizes include 72mm (mini), 171.5mm (standard), 190mm, and 203mm.
  • Link Height: Typical link height is around 101 mm.
  • Track Width: Varies widely based on machine weight, with common sizes often mentioned in the 250mm–300mm range for smaller machines.
  • Number of Links: Total number of metal links in the track assembly (e.g., 72 links).
